At Liberation School we believe there is a different way to lead, one that centers healing and spirituality as the connective tissue for enacting the changes we seek inside of ourselves, with each other and for the world.
You may be yearning for deeper community and spiritual practice and you may be called to do something bigger and bolder than what you’re currently doing, it’s time you got the support you need, it’s time to step more fully into your leadership.
Our trauma and healing approach is as follows:
Liberation School South moves from a foundational belief and knowing that trauma is intergenerational and systemic. Changemaking is trauma work and both those most affected by oppression and those working with those most affected, experience the effects of trauma on their spirits, bodies, psyches and emotional beings. Liberation School South centers an anti-oppression healing approach through an integration of practices rooted in contemplative, mindfulness, herbalism, yoga, meditation, energy healing, ancestral, writing, and art traditions.
Liberation School South holds ritual space, leads grief practices, facilitates body-based healing and more in a focus of healing history and ourselves through collective and self-reflective models.
